For those who have gone before me...
First, you will all be happy to know that I traded in a lowered Honda civic for my 04 Hemi Ram, Yay!
I have searched and didn't find the answer I needed so----I will be putting in an H pipe and two Moroso spiral flow race mufflers and am curious as to the sound difference to dumping the pipes just past the mufflers in front of the axle, or bringing the pipes past the axles and dumping them between the axle and the rear bumper. I will be using turn down tips.
The muffler shop said thatbringing the pipes back willreduce the resonation in the cab but still maintain the sound of dumped exhaust?Do you think that this is accurate? All info is appreciated.

a lowered civic? don't they scrape the ground off the lot? As for sound difference, none outside of the truck as the back pressure will be the same, you will notice some more inside the cab being as it exhausts directly below the truck
How do you lower a civic... thought that was how they came from the factory. You will definatly hear more in the cab... besides being just a louder exhaust, my SuperTruck is wicked loud in the cab dumping in front of the rear wheel.
I have this setup on my truck. My pipes exit just aft of the axel with a 45 degree turndown. There is the slight reflection off the pavement but is not resonated throughout the whole cab. I love the low rumble off the ground and yet there is no drone inside. Highly recommend this setup!
