Went on a spending binge today....
Okay so now I am upset. I have an 07 and had to get 5 1/4 for the rear doors. I went to get mine and walked up to the guy at the counter with the boxes and he asked what am I putting them in. I told him a 07 Ram 1500 QC. He asked if I was planning on cutting up the rear doors for the 6 1/2's I said nope then he said how are you going to install them. I think great what the hell does this guy know. He said my rears where 5 1/4's and said trust him. So okay I did and swapped the 6 1/2 for 5 1/4 and found out he was right, they fit perfect with just having to drill new mount holes since my stock rears only had the 3 screw mount. But I am now happy. Have Polk db521s in the rear and db691s in the front.
And how come dodge could not insulate the rear doors like they did the front doors!!!!

well that sucks i already pulled min panel off and checked and mine are 6 1/2. I'm also going to be covering all for doors completely in dynamat
Question for everyone.
I have a 2007 Quadcab and did not order the rear door speakers. I only have the two front door speakers and front dash speakers. Do you know if the wiring is present in the rear doors for me to add speakers in the rear doors or am I screwed ?
thanks

I'm not sure if its there or not i can't imagine it not being there cuz that means they would have to use a different wiring harness which means more money.... But if its not there your not screwed, you can just run your own speaker wire from the back of the deck to the rear door
I was figuring they would be there too.
I see one screw in the middle of the door panel on the rear door.
What else holds the rear door panel on ???
Is it easy to remove AND put the door panel back on the rear doors ??
Any tricks to doing it

Pulled off the door handle (think it was a t30 torx bit) and then that one screw. Up and off. It helped to remove that plastic trim around the door lock pull when putting the door trim back on.
I have a custom box under the seats in my truck (the back seats are raised an inch) 2 12" kicker cvx's, all new kicker door speakers, screen in the back built into the box, in-dash screen in the front, and a 2,500 watt amp powering the subs.
People think I either have 2 15's or 4 12's in my truck
I wanna see how yours sounds cuz mine jus shook the overhead console off to where it was hanging, and today when I was leaving school from when I started up the truck to when I got off campus I had set off 16 car alarms.
I love my truck

i was just looking at your gallery i really like your set up, altho i couldnt deal with the box in the middle of the backseat as i often have 3 people back there. Mine won't sound as good as yours as i will have a smaller amp and only 1 10" sub. I wanted to keep the driver side storage cuz i have ratchet straps and my hitch, jumper cables things like that under there. If i end up buying a tool box i will upgrade the box so i can have two subs under my back seat though.

Would have loved to do 6 1/2's also!!!
