If you change your own oil than you have to check this out. It may have already been posted but it isthe greatest thing since sliced bread. I just got one for my 2006 Ram (Product #F-106). It works great !!!!
Just think if you pissed someone off and they knew you had one of these, It wouldnt take long for them to drain it and you wouldnt be the wiser untill its to late...
Looks cool and convenient, but I like being able to clean any metallic particles in the sump off of the magnetic drain plug.
I agree. I also wouldn't feel good about driving with a "lever" to drain oil,. if going off road, or in snow where things can brush past the oil pan. If you drilled the lever's end and safety wired it, It would be a little more secure........
Not bad, looks like a good way to keep from stripping the drain valve. The way it's designed I find it highly unlikely to catch it on something when off-roading, besides if the trail is that bad, that's what skid pans are for. As far as the lazy factor? Uh yeah, sure, I call it working smarter. Those without power windows, locks, and steering could claim that but not the rest of us. The fact that he changes his own oil tells me he isn't lazy.
