A nice rumble when it first starts up and a deep rumble when you really get on it. But at idle its fairly quiet.

 

MPG went down because of exactly what you said, I love the sound of it when you really get on it.

 

i have the same mpg problem. My original goal with the exhaust was to get better mpg but i love to hear it rumble so it went the other way

 

I'm installing the magnaflow catback with a single exit next weekend. I have heard titan owners rave about the magnaflow system. I'm buying it because on the tests I have seen the performance is decent... its all stainless steel, and the sound is pretty sweet. I will let you know how it is when I get it back

I have a weld in Magna flow and I really like it.Im not crazy about the sound of it when the MDS kicks in,if I had to do it again Im not 100% sure I would.Dont get me wrong I really like the sound but the 1500-2000 rpm range when driving is a little annoying.Just my .02.

 

I know I was concerned about the mds sound, but im not sure you can avoid that with any kind of muffler or exhaust system. I think some probably hide it better than others but I bet with duals, it all sounds the same when it comes to the mds. I figure I'll have my stereo goin anytime mds kicks in anyway though. I just bought it online about an hour ago, pretty excited, but a little nervous until I get it installed and hear it, especially the mds.

 

Dont worry you will like it.It does sound very nice when you get on it.Just do it you'll be glad you did .
