I know I saw this somewhere. But what is a "cutout"? What isits purpose? Does it affect performance/MPG? I was a clip yesterday and it sounded great.

 

this has been in the forum a lot lately...........you install it before all of ur exhaust stuff.....so basically when the cut outs are open ur runnin open headers which is better for performance and has a real mean sound http://www.installuniversity.com/ins...xplanation.htm
theres an explination about it......most people put on electric cutouts which does the same job but u just press a button to open it up
