I'm very interested to hear how it goes. I may be able to get my hands on some cash to finally do my exhaust and I was leaning towards a Gibson kit. Their site boasts the biggest gains I can find, although I'll take those numbers with a grain of salt. But I do want to do gibson headers in the future as well so I figured why not do both. Although in some price shopping that I've done, it's the same price to get a shop to do a custom job for me.

I'll have to search the site to find sound clips so I can determine if I actually go gibson or flowmaster or magnaflow etc.

Just got back from the local muffler shop. $440 for a Flowmaster 44 installed with dual 4" tips. Gibson is getting their POS kit back.

You bet. The guy at the shop said the 44 will sound similar to what I am running now, which is NO muffler. It just won't be as harsh when I put my foot into it.

I a little confused why you had to cut your old exhaust off. With the flow system you remove the muffler from the Y pipe and everything behind it. I managed to get mine out in one piece.

Here are some pics of mine. The flow hooked right into the back of the Y, the of course the tail pipes off the back of the muffler.

Great price on the flows. As far as the credit card dispute. You have to send it back and wait 14days before you can dispute charges. Send it back with some sort of tracking to verify they received it and then they have 14 days to credit you back. Then you can dispute charges for the full amount if they do not credit the full amount back to you.

Had to cut it off because it was not stock. I bought this used 3 months ago and the previous owner had some shoddy aftermarket crap in there.

I had a hole in my muffler i was looking under neith the truck and i guess itsa ravin muffler so i cut the bottom off of it to see how loud it would be and its pretty loud. so i ordered a magnaflow universal muffler 14" body 3" inlet with dual 2.5" outlet i get it installed on thursday and im changing the tips to come straight out the back can't wait its gonna be sweet. ill try and get sound clips of it and post it up.
