Had to cut it off because it was not stock. I bought this used 3 months ago and the previous owner had some shoddy aftermarket crap in there.

I a little confused why you had to cut your old exhaust off. With the flow system you remove the muffler from the Y pipe and everything behind it. I managed to get mine out in one piece.
Here are some pics of mine. The flow hooked right into the back of the Y, the of course the tail pipes off the back of the muffler.

Uh.....could this be why the Gibson did not fit? If yours, was not stock to begin with?

RE: 20% restocking fees
I had a recent dealing with Gibson myself. They are definatly not perfect when it comes to part numbers fitting what they say they do. I have a Ram 2500, bought the correct part as listed on their website for my truck (SuperTruck Exhaust), and put it in. Didn't fit right, looked like a limp dick, hanging too far down. I think I went back and forth with Craig for two weeks (I knew there was something wrong on their end, just not exactly what, I have bought 2 other systems from them for past trucks and never had a problem). Long story short, the exhaust was wrong (in 2005, Dodge came out with the Powerwagon, based on the 2500 platform, and whatever adjustments they made for that in the 2005 model year, Gibson did not take into account and thought they were the same as the 03-04 models), so the exhaust I have is the one named for the PW. They sent me a new exhaust, minus the clamps and tips (still think they were cheap on not sending a $2 exhaust clamp), they didn't want the original back so I sold it on ebay. It did make me wonder what other problems they have with matching parts to model years.

RE: 20% restocking fees
It's shaping up to be a battle between me and Gibson. Gibson replied to my request to waive the 20% restocking fee with "our research indicates that the product you purchased is a direct fit replacement system. Should you decide to return the system you will be charged the customary 20% restocking fee. Thank you for choosing Gibson Performance for your automotive needs."
Then I find this on Ebay.
http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/GIBSO...spagenameZWDVW
The seller of the same exact model that I bought has a disclaimer in big, bold print.
NOTE: WONT FIT WITH TWO CONVERTERS
WONT FIT HEAVY DUTY TRUCK
MUST REMOKVE SPARE TIRE IF 20" AND ABOVE
KIT COMES WITH 3.5" STAINLESS TIPS
How come this guy knows it won't fit, yet Gibson doesn't? I guess the Better Business Bureau will be getting a letter from me.
