04 1500, 97000 miles. Had trouble with a lifter, everything else is bulletproof. Not a single drop of oil underneath the engine and trans.

04..5.7 hemi.. 217,000 all city miles..have done nothing to motor but plugs, air filter and oil change every 6,000 with a "filter change only" at 3,000 ..Mobil 1 .. doesn’t burn a drop of oil between changes.. oil comes out almost the same color it was when I put it in…runs like it did new with no ticking.. ran a compression check all cylinders came out between 150 and 155lbs.. added oil to cylinders and it had no change..

My 2007 1500 has 172,000.I have loved every mile so far. This truck pulls a 7000 pound trailer 8 months a year. Just put 2500 coil springs and aftermarket shocks and a spacer, as well as a 5 Leaf Heavy Duty leaf spring set and aftermarket coilover conversion. Best investment so far.

I just purchased a 2008 with 234000 miles on it, wanted a 4x4 for winter, and it runs fine. The individual stated hes never changed the plugs, doing that this weekend. If its true, thats pretty impressive!

^^olred...it might be true. I have a 2003 with 215k on it. I changed the plugs at 100k...I THOUGHT. I just recently learned there were two plugs in each cylinder. One of my coil packs was shorting out and jumping a spark so I went to chang the pack and HEY, theres a plug under there! Come to learn, the plug under the pack does most of the work, the other plug is just for burning excess gas. So I changed all my coils, plugs, and wires. Check out the picture of a 13yr old plug with 215k on it:

Default Not bad!

That doesn't look to bad for that many miles! I assume you didn't have any issues removing it? My concern is buildup and/or the plug is seized.
