How many miles on your HEMI?
I've had my truck since new and usually change oil between 10,000 to 13,000km (6,000 to 8,000miles) and have used Quaker State semi synthetic. I've always maintained it well but never babied it. It gets run hard and does a lot of back road driving also. The engine is still solid and I don't see any reason I won't double this mileage. I was going to get a new one this spring but am so happy with this one and I couldn't get a Laramie with Off Road anymore so decided to keep this one.
Hey guys, new here, I bought a 03 hemi qc off road when they came out 4 years ago, dealer lied about payments so I only had it a weekend, but last week I found one identical to it in fantastic shape so I bought it. It has 183,000 miles on it...yeah insane I know. The greatest part is I have another 150k warranty on it. It doesnt burn oil, engine is clean...just the hemi tick. There is no doubt in my mind its a well made truck!
38,000. ive added over 16,000 this year so far alone. took several road trips. adds up pretty fast. I keep up with my maintenance because i loike to drive it hard. biggest pain in the but was when i did my plugs at 30,000. wasn't too bad until i started on the driver side. got it done anyway. im not looking foward to the next plug swap.
Here's my Hemi lineup:
2004 Ram 1500 Quad Cab: Had for 1 Year; bought used in 05w/21k traded it in 06 w/45k...no issues
2006 Ram 1500 Quad Cab: Leased in Feb 06, got out of lease last month; truck had 23k, no issues at all; MDS good with conservative driving, not good for me though
2007 Ram Mega Cab 2500 4x4: Bought 7/12/07; already has 2,300 miles in the last month, already has exhaust and intake....runs awesome..will have this truck for a very long time; will rebuild when motor is worn out
2004 Durango: Bought new in 04; girlfriends daily driver, we have never had a problem with it in 3 years, 37k, check engine light just came on recently, but I cannot get the light to go away..no performance issues though, so it must be a minor issue, runs strong
I have racked up a lot of miles on Hemis already for being 22 and my gf is 24.....and I have loved every minute of driving them!!
