Default Manual Hubs...

Does anyone know where to get a kit to change my Auto Hubs to Manual Hubs? I've been lookin but hav'nt found anything for a 07 1500... [sm=bounceybounce.gif]

I don't think anyone makes one. Manual hubs just aren't popular anymore and the latestauto-lockers have proven to be plenty durable and convenient.

Despite the front having shafts to the wheels, the hubs are completely different then the old style lock-outs, including that there's a sealed bearing and the front "hub" doesn't exist, where the lock-outs went. Instead, it's more like a front wheel drive car, with 2 CV shafts that mount through the hub section and rotor carrier. It would be nice, and would probably free up a couple HPs not having the front running gear spinning all the time.

Does anybody know how we can do this then with maybe welding up the front and fabricating a manual locking hub set to function with our IFS....I understand that even if the front was welded, it would be locked all the time, but that is what the hubs are for. Maybe I am just stupid for thinking like this.
