you may want to consider making a few of them and selling them. Its looks great and you'd probably sell quite a few if you can beat the ebay price!

That does look good, and just like what I am looking for. Too bad I am not that handy with MDF and FiberGlass.

Yeah man that is a sweet looking box... that is pretty much like what mine is, just on one side... I just really couldn't beat the price (like you said, with the price of materials, plus sub, then labor), and just not getting frusterated with the whole process. I have a good relationship with the owner of a local sound shop... I would recommend him to anyone. Only person I have gone to in 11 years. And Phatboy, you are going to leave that harness anyways... that **** is all taped up and goes way back in the dash... way to much of a pain in the ***. Plus there is enough room to run your wires... little tip, use a stiff wire or cable to snake down through the dash, then tape the wires you aregoing to run through the dash to your head unit, and slowly pull that runner cable up... it will go a lot smoother... you can also get access under your carpet right under the dash... just pull off that plastic trim piece that is below the cup holders and above the trans hump. Plus that is an easy place to mount switches and stuff... that is where my sub controller is... because you can totally remove it and drill it.

I think I am going to end up going with two amps, the high/low pass cross over and the single sub in the back. New speakers in the door and a new head unit. Then I can just pop the stock stuff back in if I need to. Just use the harness for the power to the radio.

Medic, what did you give for your box, and got any pics?

I gotta get some pics... but it really isn't anything exciting... you know, some carpet and a woofer with cover thing over it... don't get me wrong, extreamly clean, but nothing outragous... I will take some tonight and post. Oh, and $400 for the whole thing with the JL W1 (supposed to work better in smaller boxes then the W3 that comes in the stealthboxes, I totally trust my stereo guy)
