2003 hemi ram fuel filter

I have a 2003 5.7 Hemi Ram 2500 and am wondering if anyone can give me some info on the replacement of the fuel filter. I have heard that it is in the gas tank, is that correct?

In the tank with the pump. Leave it alone.

yeah it actually has 2, one in the tank and then one on the pump assembly......they are both are lifetime filters

is there anything that can be done to clean them? pull them out anyways and clean em off maybe?? is it worth it?

don't even screw with them, you just highly increase the chances of screwing them up. Just let them be and if for some reason they go replace the whole assembly
