Dodge transmissions
drop the pan and drain the fluid. ref ill it than pull the trans cooler line going from the trans to the cooler. get a bucket and pull the trans dipstick out. start the truck and let it idle and it will start pumping the atf out. you'll need to add tranny fluid at a similar rate into the dipstick until you satisfied all the old atf is out
mine died at about 50k the dealer said to get it back to him before 70k and they look at it agian for any more problems mine is an 03 hemi qc 4x4 the most its ever towed is a 18 foot trailer with two golf carts on it.
i must be lucky i have heard a couple things from people i know that have the same year as mine and have less miles and blown tranny's i havent had any problems i drive my truck pretty hard.
