Ok... first the RCA's... there is an adapter that you can buy and put them inline with the factory head units wires going to the speakers. I have used this installing an amp in a friends ride, but honestly, if you are going to run amps and all that, you are going to want an aftermarket head unit. This way you will be able to adjust the bass levels and have more control over your audio. If you are going to run a 4 channel for the doors and an amp for some subs, make sure you get an aftermarket H/U with 3 preouts (front, rear, subs). Second, if the kid needs something, pull over and give it to them... they will be crying a hell of a lot more if you get into a wreck. It is hard, I bought a QC to put my child in, and it is hard with them facing backwards, but that is the safest way for them to be, and it is also most likely the law.And not saying you don't know how to, and this goes for everyone, learn how to properly install your car seats... you would be amazed how many are not (and in my buisness, I usually see them installed inproperly too late). Third, I don't believe that the seats in the rams have the weight sensors. Most vehicles have the manual off switch for the front airbags, but for whatever reason some of the Dodges do not (my Dakota didn't either). I think the main reason is that the safest place for young (even short and light weight adults) is the back seat. Airbags are actually designed based on the average male height and weight (or at least they have been traditionally) and injuries have occured with smaller adults and older children (granted, most injuries substained were less then what would have occured if there was no airbag at all). And airbags only work properly when seatlbelts are also used properly (ie shoulder belt not behind the back of the passanger, seat belts actually on). The days when we were all growing up of laying down across the back seat, riding in the back of pickups down the road, and not being belted are gone... there are just too many idiots on the road. Sorry to get on all that, but I have a differant perspective then some. As for the sensors, those are usually found on higher class vehicles... and kinda suck for emergency responders... after an accident without someone in that front passanger seat, the airbag on that side isn't deployed until we get in there to provide patient care... then BAM! Airbag to the side of the head... and those things can end a guys career. Hope that answers your questions.
