anyone know where i can get those tail gate struts? i know they make those struts that make the tail gate come down nice a slow and they also make the kit that u can put the gate up with one finger type deal. wanted to see if anyone know about it or know where i can pick one up

I think I am going to get these. I am always dropping my gate. Not on purpose though. How are they as far as closing, does it add restriction making it harder to close?

no resistance at all. it's awesome. all you need is one and it installs in 1 minute.

I like the idea of those... also like the idea of a warning light inside your cab reminding your tailgate is down... it wouldn't be hard to make. The other day, I was at the firehouse after teaching a class and either the guy I was with or (probably more likely, I have CRS) me left the tailgate down, and when I pulled out of the parking lot all this **** I had in the bed came out... With the cover I can't tell if it is up or down like I could before through the rearview. Kinda embarrassing.
