Default omg, another exhaust question!

i plan on getting exhaust in the very near future, i'm not sure exctly what to get.

what would be better. i'm looking for mainly sound. i love the loud mean sound. i went to one shop near me and asked how much for dual flowmasters, he said $450, i'm guessing thats for the kit. If i wanted them dual coming out infront of the rear tires (one pipe on each side) with the 40 series would that be cheaper and better than the kit? any better options for dual infront of the rears?

You don't need two flowmasters, only one (single-in / dual-out) me thinks.
On this side of the state we have Economy Muffler shops they did a great job for me.

Did you know we now have an Exhaust Sticky at the top of the 3rd Gen main page?
Hehe I just found it a few mins ago.

If you really want an aggressive sound go with Dynomax. Trust me. A friend got the 40s and mine sound better and are louder.

its usually cheaper to but the muffler yourself and then take it to a shop to get it put in. If you buy the muffler from the shop you have to pay their markup also. If you bring it in, your just paying labor and for any pipe needed to make it fit

i did my exhaust myself. on summit racing you can get 4 feet of pipe for 11 bux. i bought a super 40 flowmaster muffler for 80 dollars.
I used a saws-all to cut the old one off. my buddy has a pipe bender so we bent it all and then i clamped it on. just an idea for you, saved me 300 dollars
