i just got some projector headlights off of ebay and im not to happy... half of the halo is out and they kinda look ricey..does anyone know of any good ones except retrofitting and spending $1000+ on cool headlights

Im sorry you didn't read any of the threads on this website about these headlights, because I try to get in on every one and say how much I hated my projectors. I ended up just putting the stock ones back on after about a month. Anyway, if your on a budget you'd be suprised how much improvement you can get with just some new bulbs for the headlights and fog lamps.

Dodge really did us a disservice by having those huge headlight housings and not using two separate bulbs for low & high. Having a 3-inch diameter turn signal is rediculous when that space could have been devoted to a real high beam unit.

Down the road I may buy a second set of headlights and work on fitting projectors, either just for high beams or in all 4 positions.

 

just get a head and fog HID kit, looks good, I run 8000K and it is looks awsome, really bright tho, like blinding bright

 

I'd really rather not blind every vehicle in front of me. HIDs aren't the greatest in reflector housings and with a truck as high as this one, all it's going to do is annoy others.

I've converted my car to HIDs and like it very much. It's got stock projectors though. Only 5k for me though - I don't care about the bling; I want the illumination.

Having 9006s in the fogs does open up a few options in the upgrade category though.

 

when I put mine in and saw how bright they were I just drove around with my fogs on (because of the DRL delete) and I was going to use my heads as a highbeam but I was pulled over and cop said I need my headlights on at night soI said ur the boss, boss.. and now ppl cant see, I have just aimed them down tho so Its a bit better
