Geaze, I'm sting at the light, and I don't know how many times a modded out lifted cummins wants to play. I allwqays get smoked off the line, due tothe torque gearing in the six sp 5.7.

Hemi guys don't want to play, but the cummins guys check out the hemi logo on my 2500 and I have to prove I'm quicker and they have to prove all the money they spent on thier trucks makes them faster off the line.

I played with a cummins today, Thankfuly it was a long scratch off road, I had him at 60 mph and never looked back. if thier a ace to be had, my 5.7 is in a reg cab 4wd.

Now I do not pretend the hemi is better than a cummins, you can not beat the low end torque with a cummins and automatic with a hemi, no debate thier.

May be I have gifted hemi, all I have done is dual ex to a lighter truck, but I'm going to have to quit playing with those who have more money than me, unless a six sp cummins wants a run..

I've said it before - my Hemi would get killed 0-30 by my old TBI 350-powered GMC extended cab 4x4. It's like it just doesn't make any low end power. It wakes up quick enough though, and at least I have 3.92s to get it in the good range quick.

Here's a couple of videos for you. This is a guy in the Houston area that runs under 13 second 1/4s with a CTD 2500 4x4 automatic. Drives to the track at 20 mpg, sets a new program and runs the quarter. Sets the conservative program back and drives home.

its pretty hard to beat a diesel that has been modded i run with a guy that has larger injectors,down tube, chip, 4:56 gears, lockers, straight 4" tube exhaust (no muffler or cats). he'll go from drag racing a mustang or carmaro and come with me and go off road with out flinching. hes the guy that pulls me out when im stuck in mud. diesel duellies are awsome!
