Yes, I can feel the letters and they do feel raised compared to the rest of the door. I am going to try some more polish tonight. That plastic putty knife did a real bang up job on the rest of my paint. I need to do something better/different for the driver door tonight.

 

I'm in the same boat...I feel/see clear plastic?? around the edges where the SLT badge used to be...I haven't had time to mess with it.

 

What you are feeling is built up grime from the edge of the VHB tape that holds the badges on. You are best to use a t-shirt and continue to rub with your finger (DO NOT USE YOUR NAILS) spraying on adhesive remover a little at a time. It will take awhile, but you aren't going to scratch it. Less scratch, less buff..
