There was a post on the SRT section which someone said 95% of truck owners, although I am sure he intended it to be SRT owners had CAIs. While that is a infalted number it got me thinking. How many truck owners really do have CAIs?
RE: How many have CAI's, drop ins or stock setups?
To clarify the stock system down to the filter means you are running a standard replacement filter, like a Mopar, Fram, WIX. Where as a drop in would be a K&N filter in the stock airbox.

I think results that you get on a forum would be a little higher than normal though as most guys on here are enthusiast and they are more likely to mod their truck than some regular guy who just has it for transportation or something.

This is very true. Usually people who hang out on site tend to spend more money that gas and oil on their trucks. I also think the people who are stock are affraid to say so, or we would have more votes with the number of hits

I have a K&N drop in filter. Every now and then I toy with the idea of getting a K&N CAI butthus far I am completely satisfied with the drop in K&N.
