I think it would be a good idea but the question is where do you draw the line personally. I have a QC full bed and to me that is large enough I can not imagine having one of those big trucks but they all look incredibly sweet. I also have heard about doing away with the Mega Cab because of lack of demand.

I have to admit that the long bed makes the mega cab look normal. Plus if you were to get this wouldnt it be strictly for towing and road trips. Thats why you have a car for around town. I like it though.

my tuck is used in everyday life as it was before the conversion

i take it to work the store and bring kids backj and forth to school

it was the same length as a quad long box to begin with and is only 20 inches ( less than two feet) longer now

trust me i have nothing to gain by lying to you abotu my uses of the truck yes i use it to tow a 5th wheel and other trailers but it is my main vechile to drive

other than a few u-turn spots ( which most i could not do to begin with)nothing has changed as i always park away from all the cars in the lot anyway because people r stupid with doors and the such

got mine done in waco from the family who owns central texas frame and allignment the yhave been customizing tractor trailor frames for 30 plus years so the yreally know what they are doing

if u have a good bed ( as in good shape)it costs somewhere around the price of 6500.00 for the conversion and that inclused a new bed that is already the color of your truck

you will get a longer balanced driveline new stainless steel brake lines wiring harness with factory ends that just plug in there is no cutting and splicing

you can go here to look at his site and also he is one of the most honest down to earth (just plain good ole country boy)guys that i have even met

his name i kadell suggs give him a call or shoot him a email he will send you pics of the frame splice and talk to you about any questions u might have

If I was going to do that to a mega cab, if I owned one, I would opt for the non-dually. I have never been a fan of duallies.
