Yup. Lots of bezel screws gotta be taken off 1st. There are a couple that are hidden, so when you start to pry and feel resistance, STOP and look for the screw. Once the bezel is off, you can unplug the climate controls and get teh bezel out of your way (although you probably have enough room to leave them plugged in). Should then only be a matter of 4 screws at each corner of the head unit. Zip 'em out and then slide that factory piece of **** out of the console and unplug the antenna and power/speaker wires.

Pull the dash bezel off and undo the four screws that hold it in. There are two phillips screws that hold the bezel in from the bottom. They should be in the upper corners of the inside part of the cup holder when it's folded down. The screws that hold the radio in are also phillips head. There should be two plug and the antenna on the back of the radio to be disconnected.

NOPE not on an 04

Remove the two torx screaws from the bottom of the panel below the steering wheel, there are two clips that hold the top in, pull gently on them. Remove the screw from bhind the little hook thingy on the right side of the center panel. The rest is just help on with clips, find a point on one side and gently work it off.

I agree. 1 screw under the little handle and just pry it off. You don't need to remove the panel under the steering wheel. You just slide it out from under it. I've done it.
