Anyone have these? Or know how to wire them?
considering your lights didn't come with instructions he prolly wont email you back cause he most likely doesn't care, doesn't know the answer, and doesn't speak english only cc numbers and addresses.
here's my guess at it
back up is back up (one wire down)
leds are parking and signal?
red centers are brake.
my wiring diag (03) shows 4 wires to each tail light. i guess there are 4 pins in the harness. parking/signal, 2 brake, and backup. and then there's the black to ground. is this what you have?

They are going to stay on until you purchase load equalizers. I had the same problem when i put LED bulbs in mine. You have 5 wires. 2 and 3. Black being in the set of two. Your black is ground.
wow couple things to mention on this one....
squirtbottle - yes i guess i am on a shopping spreee!!!
dewalti have the normal bulbs working they just take that strip to attatch, now just need to get the parking led flashing figured out
chopper - where can i get these load equilizers? how are they installed?

I rather throw flames out my pipes than to put that. Its kinda ghetto to me, but hey if you like it, more power to you.
Just add a t clip to where you get more current when pressing the brake pedal. So take a brick press the brake pedal and with your voltmeter check the voltage to each light bulb's harness.
You can always DL the service manual for the truck and find the harness wire description.

I got em on eBay. They are like a mini amp. Two wires coming out on each end. You just splice into ground wire (black) and splice into the wire for your brake running lamps. How long are the wires? You may have to splice into your brake and ground with the LED, then splice in the equalizer after that behind your bumper. Same wire. Check a local autoparts store and ask if they have them. A local Harley or cycle store may have them too.
the wires coming off the taillights are only about a foot long... i'll check ebay here in a bit and see what i can find. Will i need a equalizer set for each set of leds? theres two sets on each tail light that are wired seperatly to the light but will be wired to the same wires coming from the truck.... if that makes sense?

if you can, a pic of the back of those lights and their wiresmight be useful.
For Harleys since load equalizers were mentioned, you have to have them to make any kind of LED configuration work for turn signals. The computer senses this and goes into a rapid flash sequence.
If you are NOT using them for turn signals (i.e. Running or Markerlights then you really don't need load equalizers)
However you asked and ye shall recieve...

The above are for Harleys or motorcycles in general.
Their might be different ones for Car/Truck applications.
I really dunno.

well i can get them to flash with the brake lights thats not a problem. They are just on even when i dont have the lights on or the key in. So i will buy some load equilizers and give that a shot. When i take it back apart i will take some pictures of the back to post up and yes it does use the original light strip for the normal bulbs.
Ok this seems like an ongoing battle, my load equilizers came but like the lights, have no instruction what-so-ever. Anyone know how to wire these damn things?
