What type truck do you have? Did you run the electric brake wire from the 7-pin plug into the cab of the truck?

Yes, that is the plug that should be under the dash for the controller. That's the one that jughead63 says he cannot find. It may be that Dodge quit putting the harness and plug there for the 07's. It would be nice if someone else that has an 07 without the tow package would check to see if theirs has it.

 

I have seached and searched under the dash, and I have removed the wire harnesss to make sure I was not missing it since the post says all truck come with the blue connector. Here is a picture of the only blue connector that I can find under the dash. It is located right above the parking brake release handle, not near the wire haress.

My truck (with the two package) came with a harness with a plug in a bag. I would assume plug goes into a plug under the dash and the wires go into your controller.

 

yup yup same here mine came with the plug in the bag.

 

So with the plug that came in the bag, does it look like it will plug in the blue connector in the picture?

 

my truck did not have tow pkg on it. but i had the wireing and the hitch installed because it was supp[osed to be on there when i agreed to buy the truck. The dealer also put the brake controlleer in, all free! I saw the blue four prog plug and it had a pig tail from the brake controller. but the pigtail blue wire was spliced to a wire running throughthe fire wall to the rear bumber. will get pics later.

 

this is just what i have it may or may not help. the four prong connector wires felt like it cAME from a splice plug on the firewall. And i didnot see a small blue plug.

thanks, that is the blue plug I have been looking for, I guess I will have to do the samething and have it installed at the dealer. I was hoping to not have to do that but I am running out of choices.
