I wonder why it works for some and not others. It worked first try for me. I wonder if it has to do with some combination of options?

Yeah, that's the same procedure I tried about 20 times in a row. My neighbors don't want me to try anymore. Doesn't matter I guess, the dealer is going to fix it on Monday.

 

When drivers door opens?... hmmm.... Seems that mine works when any door is open... oddly enough... But it's alright...

 

mine doesnt unlock when a door is open. atleast i dont think they do because i remember havin to unlock the back door after getting out.

 

If I remember correctly, that pamphlet said the unlock feature is factory set to "off". It listed all of the standard factory settings for that list.

 

slapshot12how do you make the doors auto unlock when the driver door is opened. i have a 06 and wondering if it would work because its aggravating to have to unlock the rear doors everytime i wanna get in.

 

I was told by my dealer that some of the '07s will work on the horn thing per the manual, but that most need to be done on thier computer. There is never a charge for a malfunctioning option to be set. That can be done as warranty if they want to, but most do this as a simple courtesy.

 

Horn procedure worked on my 06, my truck already had the auto door unlock when a door is opened and when the truck hits 15mph the doors lock automatically and the best thing of all it already had the seat belt alarm deactivated.
