Had to drive 90 minutes, but found exactly the colors and option package I was looing for! Trucks are priced at invoice minus $6000 bonus. Worked out to be ~ $23,500 before tax, registration, and title. I decided I really wanted the 4x2 because its supposed to get a little better mileage and saves me 3K on purchase.

Now I need to upgrade the stereo, get a bed liner, and get some nerf bars. Any idea what are the best bars? The dodge ones are nice but expensive. I want ones that stick out far enough to protect me from car doors.

 

nice ride! i noticed you have different side mirrors are they only like that with the hemi? and shouldnt it say thunder road under the 1500?

 

The mirrors are a $100 option called "Fold Away Power Trailer Tow Mirrors". They stick out a little farther, but you can spin them vertical and make other adjustments to them. They also have a wink in the corner.

I havent seen a thunderroad badge on the trucks I looked at in Maryland, but I see one on your truck! This truck was made in Warren Michigan and many of the trucks were made in Mexico. I expect there are minor variations in badging based on when/where the trucks were assembled.

I like the standard mirrors too. They are on the rental (you can see it in the background) and they are a little bigger than the fold away mirros.

yeah mines pretty basic except they are heated and they fold, but nice truck i hope its good to ya, im paranoid bout people hittin my truck i try to park it as far away from people as possible, im also lookin for some nerf bars too probably gonna pick some up next paycheck and also a bed liner i called up the dealership and they didnt have the over the top liners

 

Nice color. I have just put on the Westin platinum bars. I took some pictures today so I will try to get those up for you to check out.

 

Should have told the dealer to throw in a bed liner to seal the deal.

 

Well, I was getting invoice and 6000 off, not sure if the deal gets any better than that! Besides, I want a spray liner.
