I remember seeing something on ConsumptionJunction.com (it's not all ****... but, you know)and they had this guy poping dents using those keyboard cleaner aircans and a blowdrier. He turned the can upside down (propellant leaves super cold), sprayed it all over the dent, and then slowly heated it with a regular blow dryer. Pretty slick.

Yup, goo-gone is best, not to be confused with goof-off which will strip your paint too, dangerous stuff, easy to confuse the names.
WD40 works if you soak it well.

ORIGINAL: uk guy

not sure if dry ice would remove the sticky with out damaging the paint, if the paint gets too cold as you remove the badge the paint could be pulled form the metal, best bet would be to heat up the badgetoremove and any sticky left can be removed with WD40and a shop rag,

always worked well for me !
