Can dry ice remove stickers and badges?
Ok so here is the scenerio, my grandfather and I are outside B.S'ing and he notices that I have stickers on my pickup indicating where I bought it. Grandpa goes, "That really pisses me off!!!" He then stated that dry ice will take those stickers off. I was just wondering if anybody has done this. Is there any danger in damaging my paint? Just a little food for though.
Just take a hairdryer and heat them up then they will peel off easy. If there is any sticker residue googone will remove it without a prob. Easiest way to remove any sticker or emblem.
not sure if dry ice would remove the sticky with out damaging the paint, if the paint gets too cold as you remove the badge the paint could be pulled form the metal, best bet would be to heat up the badgetoremove and any sticky left can be removed with WD40and a shop rag,
always worked well for me !

I have used dry ice to get small dents out of vehicles, make a fog machine, and of course the ever sopopular keep your stuff cold.
Your grandpa might have knowledge that has been lost or forgotten.

take back to the dealer and tell them you dont advertise for free nor do you want their name on your truck i told my dealer that he took it to the back and peeled it off and cleaned the residue off no charge. he said something about it was common practice for dealers.
