ha ha . My wife doesn't work. She doesn't call the shots but she tries. I wanted to go with the 1500 because i wanted to str8 axle the front and have something unique. I wanted to build the truck like I want it in stead paying more money for all that truck when I could just buy a 1500 and make it just as stout by putting bigger axles and more horsepower, and of course clearance. I only payed 21,000 for the truck brand new.right now I have about $9000 in it. This is the fourth set of tires and the second set of wheels I've had on it since I bought it in March. I only have roughly 30,000 in the truck and if I did this to a 2500 i would have more than that in it. I can out pull any 3/4 ton truck right now and I have all the extras.

i haven't checked the mileage yet since i changed the gears. but it will eat just about anything .it likes the rice burners the most
