RE: 2006 megacab ac system
My truck is less than 2 weeks old, and in for the 2nd time for the AC Problem... First place, Performance Dodge in Omaha (worst service ever), said they evac'd and recharged, checked the blend door and tested to 44 degrees... I call BS on that... Yes, it seemed to work fine on that day, then yesterday, I had 2 other people in the truck with me witness this... Mild Day, like 86 outside, AC on high cold, not recirc, would not blow anything but cool air, truck cab was hot for the entire drive... Then out of curiousity, I switched the climate control to hot on drivers side, still blowing 'cool' air, switch passenger side to hot, they got hot air, switched mine back to cold, still no change on drivers side, then switched passenger back to cold, and drivers side got HOT!!!
No excuse me for being a bit [:@]!!! This is an 07 Loaded Laramie that cost a CHUNK of money... It best be gettin' right pretty damn quick... It's not even hot here yet... So it's back to the selling dealer (45 miles from my house) this morning... Hopefully, they will give a bit more of a crap than Performance Dodge did...

Thinks everyone for the advice, I took the truck back to the dealer and there was a technician service bulletin on the Recirculator door. The service manager told me that the 2006-2007 model recirculator door was redesigned and that the plastic clips that hold the door on are too weak to hold the door. Took them about three hours, but props to Rallye Dodge for great service and a great job.
