shoulda got the hemi!!! i'm sure you'll pull it but it'll be rough on longer hauls, and will KILL your gas mileage, well what little you started with anyway
Or a Cummins. You will be able to tow it. you will use more gas, the truck will not leave you stranded, just get everything ready for it. check all your fluids and monitor your trucks temp and oil pressure. use your gears wisely. try to keep from flooring the truck for too long. you will be alright. Have the guy at the dealership explain weight distribution to you as well.
yeah its gonna be easy going for me believe me lol im not bout to try to mess up my truck im not gonna go wild just probably round 50 or 55 mph i dont care if people behind me get pissed off lol.
im planning on pulling it up there and leaving it up there so when i go up to see my family i'll have a place to stay insted of paying a for a hotel room all the time. so just this time and probably once more to get it down here in 3 or 4 years or so.
You will be fine. again just monitor your truck. you know when yo are straining it. you should have tow haul mode, if not when on any incline no matter how steep just kick off the over drive will help. might want to bring a 5 gallon container of gas incase you get low and nothing around. never hurts to be prepared.
so turn off the over drive when goin up a incline? i'll be goin up interstate 81 all the way up and theres like gas stations every where so im not to worried about that.
