does anyone have any input on the magnaflow cat back system that exits in front of the rear tire on an 07 ram hemi?any pics of the system on a truck???

I was thinking about getting that kit from magnaflow w/ side exit before the rear wheel. The only thing I can really comment on is that I chose the 40 series flowmaster over the magnaflow because I wanted my ride to be loud.

 

I just had the cat back magnaflow dual rear exit installed. Its definitly different from the flowmaster being that you control the sound, its shuts up when I'm sitting at a light, but the second you touch the pedal you definitely hear it. I thought the constant drone would wear on me so I really like it.

 

what does the magnaflow sound like when the MDS kicks in?

 

Honestly I can't really tell, sounds slightly different from the regular rumble, but nothing I can complain about nor does it bother me. But that's just me.

 

did you hear anything about the bassani systems?

 

I've heard of them, but never really heard anything good or bad about them....

 

I am thinking about the same system. I think I am going to order one today and bolt it upover the weekend. I have a SBC if I need to hear something loud all the time. I just want something more aggressive then the stock exhaust.

I got the magnaflow system on mine, and I love it. It has got a deep low tone and you really don't here much in the cab, it is great! Shop around for it, because everywhere I looked on line it was $400 or better, but I got mine from an exhaust shop here in town for $280 installed.
