Default RE: K&N vs AirRaid Intake?

OK, my Airaid CAI kit came UPS yesterday, and although it was extremely hot and humid and my wife said I was an imbecile for not waiting until the weekend (cooler weather) to install it, I decided I couldn't wait and I installed it last evening.

Total install time from start to finish was 30 minutes. The only deviations I performed from their instructions was to install the air dam gasket prior to installing the dam in the truck (I think it would have been a biatch to do it in situ), and rather than disconnecting the battery, I simply pulled the PCM fuse and reset the computer.

I have no idea whether or not I'll see an increase in MPG, and I will never know for sure what increases I'm actually getting in horsepower and torque unless I put the truck on a dyno, but I haven't had a vehicle sound like this since I sold my 1969 Camaro in '85. I think I'm going to have a hard tme keeping my foot off the accelerator!
