This is why I just spent $1500 on a 97 Mazda 626. I did the math for my commute to work. I am averaging 17 mpg in my megacab for the commute. Here's how I broke it down:

I drive 1040 miles per month for work. 1040 divided by 17 = 61 gallons of gas x 2.90 per gallon = $177 per month in gas just to go to work. The mazda is averaging 30 mph. 1040 divided by 30 =35 gallons x 2.90 per gallon = $101 per month. I am saving 76 dollars per month on my commute.

Myinsurance rate alsowent down $15/ month by ADDING the Mazda since I will be driving it the most.

MDS my ***, I'll take the Mazda for work, and the megacab for play. FWIW, I averaged 14 mpg while towing my 24 ft. boat to the Keys last month.

Turbo, that's one hell of a front bumper you have there.

Thanks.
When I called Ranch Hand they said it only comes in two colors...... black and black.
Well that's what powder coating is for, I wanted it white. I just got it back out of the shop. I hit a deer and it bent the stock bumper, which was also powder coated white. So I opted to replace it with a Ranch Hand bumper.
Here's a close up

by the way... if you get something powder coated... in, let's say white. Specify which color white. There seems to be about 6 or so different shades. [:@]

I just want my non-MDS truck to see over 10 mpg just ONCE. Even at a solid 70 on the interstate using cruise, it never tops 10. Gonna do plugs & wires asap but not expecting huge gains from that.
Can you say "Lead-foot"? I have 325/65R18 (35x13.50) Mickey Thompson MTZ's and see 11-12 city, and 14-16 highway. I think you need to start with fixing your driving habits. Before I went to MTZ's I was getting 13-14 city and 17-19 highway. Oh and I changed from 3.55 to 4.56 axle gears when I changed the tire size.
