buying a pop up, questions
More info would be needed. Tie downs? electrical connections you should have all the trailor wiring you need on the CTD if you go t the tow package which I am sure most have.
Dont knock the pop ups! I had one for a few years and we loved it. Stored it in garage, easy to tow, easy to get back into the hunting areas. We now have a 27 ft Travel Trailer but no regrets on the pop up....
I started off with a tent and graduated to a pop-up which I liked very much. I have since traded up to a travel trailer but a pop-up is fine if it suits your purpose.
I will add though, that there are some campgrounds that prohibit pop-up trailers and even some that evenprohibit hybrids. Snootyjerks if you ask me, but there are getting to be more and more of them.
As far as electrical connections, you might want to clarify exactly what you are talking about.

Thanks, Bill

Not a trailer type but in the bed. I've spentmanynights sleeping in tents and bivysor worse. Nothing wrong with a little comfort on a long road trip.
I'm talking about connections in the bed for a camper. What do you use for tie downs.
As for trailering I bought this truck with a sole purpose, to haul a very heavy sailboat on a triple axle trailer. Made the first trip last week from Denver to Frisco via I-70. Had an exhaust brake installed for the trip, worked fantastic. Exited the tunnel and got to 40mph. Turned on the brake and was going 40at the bottom of the approach. I'm sold on my truck.
