When the MDS kicks in and cuts back the cylinders, it doesn't have the same pressure pushing out the exhaust thus causing a weird low drone that is annoying. Not everyone has this problem though. With my setup, when my MDS kicks in I can not even hear my exhaust. The only noise that I get is right when it kicks on, it sounds like my engine died, after that, it is like driving a car.

Could you post a pic of where the muffler is mounted, in regards to the cab? I am thinking of a similar setup, with a 50, just moving the muffler out as far away from the cab as possible, or just not under it at all. Thinking that might help with in-cab drone.
