Default 03 Hemi Lifters Ticking

Just bought an 03 hemi 4x4 quad cab gave 17,5 for it and it only has 39k on it, so i'm not too mad about it. Has anyone ever adjusted the valves in one before. I adjust the valves on my 4-wheeler and use to do it on my old Z71 and CJ's and stuff but im just not to crazy bout tearing into my brand new to me truck. Is it wourth the money to just got get it paid or to try it myself.

I usually pick mine off just before I wash it. Tuff little buggers.

Nah do like Bigjrussel says and you will be most informed.

they are hydrolic abnd self adjusting. nothing you can do.

if you swap in a cam and use the 6.1 L pushrods there will be no more hemi tick. they are longer than the stock 5.7

sucks mine went away after the 6.1 pushrods. most have reproted the same thing as the fix to the tick as well, not to mention tightening the rocker arm assemblies down a little tighter. you might not wan2 do that helo... broken bolts in them heads suck as you know...
