Default RE: 37" tires on a power wagon

im so frickin jealous. i want one so bad. ill be 18 in a year and then with my trade in (in sig) and the money i have saved up (about 10K by that time) i should be able to get financing on a brand new powerwagon. i wouldnt mind a used one but its hard as hell to find a used truck equipped like i want it. it seems all the ones i see used have like leather seats and gps and stuff and that adds like another couple grand that i dont want to spend. plus ill be buying this in jan of 08 so the 08s will have just come out a few months before and hopefully there will be a huge amount of leftover 07s and they will be more willing to deal on it. what do yall think? think i could afford it?

Nice truck....two questions though...What's your gas mileage like? And if you can, how do you operate the wince? are the controls for the winch inside the truck cabin? And, maintenance...is maintenance for this truck more expensive than a regular Dodge Ram?

I average in the upper 13s for every tank. I'd guess highway mileage would be around 15, and city is probably under 10. If you're concerned about the cost of gas, definitely don't get a Power Wagon. The wife's always yelling at me about this cause it costs me a little south of $200 per month for gas.

The winch is easy to use. When you needit, pop the hood and hookup the cord. Run it through the drivers window and you can operate, forward or reverse. I've had to use it three times now, and I've always been pleased.

Don't know about mx cost. I've got 6500miles so far andhaven't had a problem. Two oil changes, both free. Can't imagineit would be any more than any other hemi/2500 series.

Thanks for the warning. I like the truck, it's sharp, and it has alot of things that could come in useful, but not with that kind of gas mileage....

Hey, anyone start a Power Wagon club? I love my PW. It's funny too 'cause I haven't seen one on the road yet in over a year of ownership, makes me feel unique. I remember looking for one at everydealership in my area, wife called a phanton truck and that it didn't exist, till one day on the internet I found one, actually three at two different dealerships. After I played them against one another I got mine for $33,000.00.These trucks rule!!

Looking to pick up my 07' Power Wagon on friday. It stickers for $49,500 and I will be buying it for $38,500....not too bad. Anyway, its black with gray leather, sunroof, power rear slider, navi, sirius, etc....I plan to immediately install a CAI, exhaust, custom tune, and maybe a supercharger if one is available. Anyway, just wanted to chime in as a newbie PW owner. I might only get 10mpg, but the smiles on my face are worth the extra 5mpg that I might get with another 3/4 ton.
