RE: Drum Roll Please...180 T-Stat Install.....
Ok the wife had the Truck all day today. I asked her to keep an eye on the Temp gauge (pointed it out to her) and off she went.
When she got home I questioned her and she pointed out where the gauge got up to and she says that it stayed at that point the whole day. I really ain’t trying to keep you guys in suspense.:( So here is another Pimp Cup pic :D Also Ilove the new Avatar Horseapples :D |

RE: Drum Roll Please...180 T-Stat Install.....
Pappy,
The valves are not the same size. The stock valve includes the black rubber part. Push on this with your finger and you'll see what I mean. The small frame unit has limited travel and flow. |

Pappy
How in the hell did you get that bottom bolt off (much less back on) withough having to take the tube off first. I tried and couldnt get to it. It says in the service manual to remove the tube first. Thanks |

RE: Drum Roll Please...180 T-Stat Install.....
Took the Truck out for a little romp & stomp today.
I really haven’t notice a lot of performance increase. It does run a bunch cooler tho. As for MPG the wife and I are going up to St. Augustine this weekend for our 13th anniversary, I’ll do some number crunching and let you know. |
