Ok the wife had the Truck all day today. I asked her to keep an eye on the Temp gauge (pointed it out to her) and off she went.

When she got home I questioned her and she pointed out where the gauge got up to and she says that it stayed at that point the whole day.

I really ain’t trying to keep you guys in suspense.

So here is another Pimp Cup pic

Also Ilove the new Avatar Horseapples

Pappy,

The valves are not the same size. The stock valve includes the black rubber part. Push on this with your finger and you'll see what I mean. The small frame unit has limited travel and flow.

How in the hell did you get that bottom bolt off (much less back on) withough having to take the tube off first. I tried and couldnt get to it. It says in the service manual to remove the tube first.

Thanks

You could take the hose off, it just seemed like an extra step to me.
I used a 5.5" extention and a universal, had to come at it from a slight angle.
And I did drop it on the install. lol

Took the Truck out for a little romp & stomp today.

I really haven’t notice a lot of performance increase. It does run a bunch cooler tho.

As for MPG the wife and I are going up to St. Augustine this weekend for our 13th anniversary, I’ll do some number crunching and let you know.
