I canNOT for the life of me find that dad blame dang stupid sorry frackin frazzl'n agrivating as he!! seatbelt dinger!!!! I drive on the farm and do not see it relavant or practical to put on my seatbelt, drive 100 yards @ 15 mph, take off the seatbelt, mend the fence, & repeat this step about 20-40 times after a big wind storm has came though (like last week). I just leave it off, but the ding,ding,ding,ding is driveing me NUTS!!

 

put the middle seat belt in the clip of the driver seat.

Disclaimer: What ever happens to you, its of your own doing. No one else to blame but you for not using a seatbelt.

 

I always use the center belt, but a friend of mine went to a junkyard and cut the buckle out of another vehicle and just uses that.

 

In reply to using the middle seatbelt, it does not work. Lawyers at Dodge must have figured this out for '07 models, becaus nether mine nor Alex's middle seatbelt will plug into the drivers seat latch.

 

buckle seatbelt
start truck
unbuckle and buckle 3 times in 10 seconds
you will hear a beep, this means it worked

do the same to turn it back on

Its not my fault if something happens to you.

Thanks oefootball_70. I'll try that. I have never weck'd in a pasture or off road at 15mph, so i feel pritty safe on this one. I DO wear my seatbelt on the highway, if, fo no other reasonthan that our loclal Police Are VERY strict about the seatbelt law, and would give ther own mother a ticket if the could! (That, and I just feel safer) They get something like $100.00 every time they catch you without a seatbelt while driving on the highway!

 

No prob, it should work. It did on mine.

 

ATTN: oefootball_70, THANKS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! It WORKED!!! I was a little skeptical (as usual), but was extatic when I heard no more ding's! My wife, who I usualy can con into helping me fence, said "WELL!,,,, God bless his little soul!!!!!!" I think she was getting tired of hearing the dinger as well!

 

It worked, it really worked. I am sure all that have tried this is as happy about reading this post as I am. As soon as I read the post by oefootball_70 I had to run out to my truck and give it a try. It took about 5 tries to get it to work, but I am amazed. I do wear my seatbelt all the time, but it would not even let me get down my street before I would hear that ding. Thank god it is gone!!!
