has anyone her of or know anything thing about puting the hemi 6.1L cam into the 5.7L trucks. a company on ebay http://stores.ebay.com/Henson-Motor-Sportsthey do. they say u can use the srt8 6.1L cam in out 5.7L trucks u just need to change ur springs. dose this sound correct and has anyone done this? i also herd using shorered plug wires and differant plugs helps a lot? any word on that.?

thats art at hensen motors.... hes the guy for the parts and if you ahve any questions as well.. im confused as to why people have such a hard time believen it will work and work reliably. a few have left everything stock and run just the cam and still havent had issues after 10,000 + miles. i recomend changeing the springs and call it a day

try some other forums... there are two with better knowledge of cams and mods in general dtalk and hemitruckclub

 

well if i use the 6.1Lcam i need to change the springs and he sells that together what do u think about that?
