Default Mega Cab Water Leak through DVD Player

Hi All, still more troubles with my 1 month old 07 Mega Cab... Has anyone on here experience water dripping from the DVD player during or after a rain? My truck has the Factory Installed Sunroof and the Sirius Antenna mounted on the and through the roof...

It's at the dealer for the 2nd time to get looked at, and so far the same story, 'we've had water sitting on it for over an hour with no leaks'... Seems to me, they can't or are not trying to find the problem and I would like to know if anyone else has gone through this with a mega cab...

In the shop 4 days so far;

Air Conditioning Day 1
Air Conditioning Day 2
Roof Leak Day 3
3 of 4 wheels out of alignment Day 3
Roof Leak Day 4

A truck with a Sticker of almost $45,000.00 should not have these problems... I'm not sure if I just got a peice of sh*t or if it's representative of the quality of all Dodge Heavy Duty Trucks...

when they say they have water sitting on it do they just dump a bucket and when it dries up dump another? I'd make them take two guys, one to sit in it and watch and the other spraying over everything with a hose constantly til they find the leak. With that many problems i would not be in a good mood like you said its a brand new truck.

Trust me... I am NOT in a good mood... They are the nations largest Ford Truck Dealer and a Major Dodge Dealer... Things best get right pretty quick, or I'll be driving a Ford by this time next week... Thanks for the input though...

That sucks... how is the attenna routed through to the outside of your truck... was it factory or aftermarket? Sounds like the problem would be the attenna.

Have them pull the headliner and silicone everything. Then put in a new headliner for you.

What FFmedic said and then I would run the truck through a touchless car wash with the high pressure water and check for leaks then. What Hanson said, if they are just dumping water on and letting it sit then you will not find a leak, you need to add the factor of driving in there. A pressure washer will simulate this.

It's a factory Sirius Antenna... I looked at it the other day and there are no wires around it, so I am assuming they go through the roof... It's mounted at the back end of the roof... I am talking with the Customer Satisfaction Manager tomorrow... They're keeping the truck overnight, so they bring me a Nissan Titan to drive until it's right... Hope that Titan can pull a 21' bass boat because I have a bass tournament saturday and I'm leaving tomorrow night...

I know this is an old post but I am having the same trouble with my 08 Ram and wondered what ended up being the problem. My husband is a mechanic and refuses to leave it at the dealership without having a handle on the problem first. I am sure it isn't the sirius antenna but thought the sunroof or windshield could be to blame. Thanks
