FYI

I have a 2003 Ram 1500. I had cracks on both separate dash pieces so I had to buy both dash covers. You can buy the front and rear separate.

 

Armor all on the dash has saved mine from any cracks. Knocks on wood..............

 

I hounded Dodge enough that they replaced the dash on my old 2000 ram. This is what it looked like, sorry for the bad pic but it was taken with my cell.

 

Armoral actually dries and brittles plastic which causes cracks!

I just bought a Windshield Sun shade. Has a blue Rams logo in the middle of it. It's a sliver color otherwise. My interior is Much cooler. Fold up to the height of the windshield(30" or so) and about 7" wide. Small enough to put under the back seats.
