keep my 05 rumble bee...or get a new 07...help!!
well...i went to a dodge dealership to look around today...different from the one i went to service and know one of the salesmen REAL well...to make a long story short...2 months ago...i bought a rumble bee...that has a huge scratch that goes from the back bumper up to front door...is rusting...a few other spots on the truck are rusting...checked into it...not a warranty issue because it is chipped paint...the muffler is extremely loose feels like its about to fall off...they wanted 25k at the used dealership...took it down to 22k.....they gave me 5grand for my trade...witch took it down to 17k...my interest is extemely high at 16% as i have bad credit...so im paying roughly 365 a month for the truck...i love it...its 2wd it only had 9900 miles when i bought it...now it has just under 13k on the odometer...there is signs that this truck was 'used' with the above mentioned and the fact...it has three bald tires and one new tire...now...i went to the dodge dealership...they offered me...28760 on a regular cab ram....hemi...and 4x4 BEFORE the 6 grand cash back...which i thought was a good deal...but im not really sure what i want to do...i feel like my truck has been beat to death for the first 10k of its life...and this truck here is new...also...what would be the acceleration difference between a 2wd regular cab...and a 4wd regular cab...i love my truck because i get looks...everywhere...but...also i like the fact that it will HAUL *** as well...i need peoples opinions on what i should do...im torn...the wife is going to be pissed...so i figure...what the hell ill just bring it home...i fought with her for two weeks to get the rumble bee...not doing that **** again...lol looks arent everything...i think that 4x4 will be greatly beneficial to me as well...i dont do any offroading or anything...but i think its a great asset to the whole package...also...i owe 17.7k on my rumble bee...someone PLEASE help clear my head lol
thanks!
thanks!
28760 sounds high for a regular cab. You can get a newquad hemi 4x4 here for less than that. Unless it is the perfect truck, and you are sure you can afford it, then go ahead and treat yourself.

a little tip to keep interest a little lower. never finance via the dealer. say the bank says they are approved for X%...the dealer will come back and say you were approved for Y (which is what the bank said X plus ____=Y)...ex, bank approves for 6% dealer says your approved for 8%....the extra money between the 6% and 8% they dealer pockets....your better off financing via your bank, not theirs
i would go with the new hemi also, but like they said, you could get a quad cab for that price...there is always room for negotiation.

Just beware, when you trade that soon your going to lose your *** on that rumble bee. It may be wiser to stick a little money into getting the rumble bee fixed up and wait awhile.
