Hello All,

I have just become tired of looking so I want to throw this out there. I am looking fora white/light green wire near, but not connected to the PCM that sends signal to the reverse lights. I have looked at two wires that I thought were the right ones, but were not.

I need this wire because I dont want to connect my nav and rear view camera systerm to the taillights, I would rather have the connection under the hood. Anyone got a pic or explanation of what bundle I can expect to find this wire in?? Thanks ahead of time.

 

Can we get a little more info? Year of truck? 1500 2500 or 3500?

Work back from your reverse lights at the rear of your truck with an electrical multimeter.
I traced mine all the way back to one of the big connector blocks underneath the Power Distribution Center............the big black fuse box on my 03 1500 Hemi.
Just get someone to keep putting the truck into and out of reverse as you trace the wire to make sure it's the right one.
Tip the fuse box onto it's side and you will a number of these large blocks. Check out the wires running into them and then do the multimeter test to make sure you get 12 volts when the truck engages reverse.
It worked for my rear viewcamera mod

Sorry about not posting the year and jazz. Its a 04 1500 Quad 4x4 Hemi of course. Thanks for the info so far, I know the tracing back part, i was just hoping someone would know what colour in what bundle....

 

You have seen me on other sites? Or just making the joke that swinger fits a ton of different websites?? Lol
