Default Flowmaster 50 HD vs Cherry Bomb Extreme

I'm gonna do my exhaust, but I am not sure which way to go. I've narrowed it down to either the Flowmaster 50HD, or the Cherry Bomb Extreme. I think I will be getting a 3" in / 2 1/2" dual out the back. I've heard all the audio files, had the Flowmaster Super 40s on my Charger, but the Cherry Bombs are more than half the cost of the Flows and they sound pretty good. Are the Flows worth over twice the Cherry Bombs?? Help me decide!!![sm=helpout.gif]

Flows all the way. Cherry bombs are just sound but the flow will help more in the performance department down the road. The Cherry Bombs are made as a last resort for people tight on money and they will break down quicker. I had a set on my Monte Carlo when I was in College and found myself changing it almost every year because it could not handle the constant pressure that I was putting it through. But at only $5 a pipe, I did not care at the time.

Both Cherry bombs and flows are just for sound. Both are not really good on performance but with the flows you might see an extra 0.5hp over the the cherrybombs. I dont like saying bad things about the flowmasters because I do like the way they sound however they just dont provide the performance I want. With that being saidand your choice is between the flows and the bombs then just go with the one that sounds the best to you and make your truck unique.

By the way I have heard that the new Cherrybombs last longer than a year now daysand are nothinglike theones a few years ago

I can get the Cherry Bomb Extreme for under $50. It's a 3" SI / 2 1/2" DO. I didn't know that they wouldn't last long. Hmmm, gotta re-think.........

The cherry bomb you are looking at is an actual muffler so it will last longer. The ones that most people think of when you say cherry bombs is thier glass packs which will only last about year. You'll be fine

The extreme will be louder and more aggressive sounding than the HD. I have heard some Extreme sound clips and they sound evil. Go with the extreme!
