Default Wishful thinking?

I was on my way to work the other day and saw a dakota with a "4x4 Hemi" decal on the side? Did dodge ever make the dakota with the hemi or was it wishful thinking on that owners behalf?

That sir would be wishful thinking unless a swap was done. that would make a hell of a fast truck.

All that power in such a light ride, I would think it would be sick myself. And unless he was being stealthy, he still had the smaller diameter exhaust pipe sticking out.

Sounds like wishfull thinking. Probably has a V6 in it and wants people to leave him alone, so he put a hemi badge on, lol

its possible. i was talkin to my neighbor about a year ago and his buddy came over there in a shiny black, badass sounding lifted dakota on about 35s. and it had the chrome hemi emblems like on the rams, and i was just messing around with him about it but he lifted the hood and he really did have a hemi under it. i should have told him about this site so he could join, but i was too busy lusting over the truck to even think straight.

Was it a swap or factory? When I had my dakota, the 4.7 took up every inch of that bay... I couldn't imagine what engine compartment mods needed to take place to put a hemi in there.
