RE: Installed the Mopar Grille inserts (This time with pics)
The grille inserts were $111 at my local Dodge dealer. You will need a 8mm socket to remove the bolts/nuts that hold the grille onto the truck. You then take a hammer and a small screwdriver and tap out about 25 plastic rivets that are holding the stock honeycomb grille in place. You then take the hammer and tap in new plastic rivets (that come with the kit) to hold the chrome inserts in place. You reattach the grille to the truck, and you are done! It took me about 30 minutes from start to finish, although I probably could have gotten it done faster if a couple of the stock rivets wouldn't have been a pain to tap out.
By the way, an icepick would be a perfect tool to tap out the old rivets, I just didn't have one handy.

I would love to do the chrome grill (my fiance actually keeps telling me I should... I'm stupid for not doing it yet) but what is the differance between all the brands out there... I don't want to waste time on something that is going to look like crap in a month, and I want one where it is a cut out (sounds like the Mopar is) and not an overlay, nor do I want any vertical bars supporting behind the horizontals, makes it look sloppy.

Well, actually a cut out refers to grilles that require you to physically make cuts to the grille to remove the stock one. This Mopar kit requires you to unbolt, unrivet, and rerivet, so there is no cutting required. An overlay grille are the kind that bolt onto and over the stock grille, which usually results in a sloppy look, especially in bright sunlight where you can see the stock grille behind the overlay. The Mopar grille has the vertical support bars for strength (as do most kits), but they are molded in black and very hard to see.
