hypertech boast over 50 hp for this new programmer. has anyone used it yet? is so what results did you get?

 

Maybe for a diesel... not for a gasser... maybe 10 -15hp is all you will get with a programmer alone

 

no, that is what they are claiming for the hemi bud....... the bully dog power pup for the hemi has dyno backed results showing an increase of 35 hp and 50 ft/lbs of torque at the wheel with the 91 tune.

 

Why don't you throw up some of these dyno sheets or where you heard this info. Also, dyno sheets for those companies show crank horsepower, not wheel horsepower.

 

there are some threads on here reguarding the bully dog power pup. the hypertech max energy is so new ive only seen 1 review on it so far. if anyone has a dyno chart for the new hypertech id love to see it also.

 

I would have a hard time thinking you are going to get 50hp from a programer. Diablo which in my eyes makes some of the best programers out there is claiming 20hp/ 20lb of torque at the wheels and that is impressive. There is not much you can get out of a gas engine without some major mods. Most of the programers will get you better throtle response and firmer shift points, which will help but HP is not something they really get. Unlike Diesel engines, gas engines are very regulated and pretty much topped out from factory unless you get a Turbo.

 

i dida little bit of looking around last night and the bully dog doesnt give the hemi 35hp. its more like 30. it does however give the chevy 6.0 35 hp. take a look at the new hpertech max energy. my neighbor has a diablo. says its garbage wishes he had of gotten superchips or a power pup.

 

What is your neighbor using his Diablo on? If you look around in the threads here, you will see that everyone likes a different programer.The Hypertech or Superchips are good programers, I just dont believe that they offer what the Diablo has on the table. Diablo is not coming out until the end of July

 

my neighbor has a quad cab ram hemi 4x4.i was leaning towards a bully dog power pup, but then i saw hyper tech released the max energy. ive emailed them and havnt recieved the dyno info yet for it. the bully dog results were at the wheel.does anyone know anything about the new hypertech?

 

I thought the Predator wasn't going to be available for the Hemi until the end of this month or next month. I am on a waiting list for the release. How did your neighbor get one?
